Can i do this on unresponsive yoyo?

Unfortunately not. There may be a modified version of the trick that you can do with an unresponsive yoyo; most likely it would be more complicated and involve some kind of bind. Maybe you can figure it out. Good luck.

I've done this with an unresponsive DV888. Just cup your palm a little bit so that you don't do a hand grind, and bring your throwhand in a little close to the non-throwhand so that there's more slack for the yoyo to catch on to.
