This is almost like an introductory tech move ("tech" is loosely used).  It teaches you string spacing and accuracy.  It may be hard to land at first, but what isn't?

YYJ Mini Mo-Tu. I honestly wouldn't recommend it, though. There are much better yoyos available for $40 nowadays.

Depends what you're looking for. If you're pretty much a beginner haven't been throwing too long, I would recommend a YYF Fast 201 ($10).

If you're sort of an intermediate player who wants to start getting into some whips and slacks, then you probably want to learn about unresponsive play. For that, I'd say you should get a YYF Velocity ($20), which you can adjust for responsive play or unresponsive play.

If you're an advanced player who understands unresponsiveness and is just looking for an all-around great throw, you can't go wrong with a SPYY. I've been loving my Pro, Stryker, and Speed Freak, and anxiously awaiting my Ronin and Supra in the mail. You just need to find out your preferences as far as weight, shape, and size go.

Honestly, I don't understand... It makes me cry... :-) I have soooo much trouble having the yoyo landing on the right string. It almost always land on two strings...

This has been a little deception... I succeeded in Buddha's Revenge and wanted to learn Matrix as next trick. It starts with Double or Nothing and I am now stuck on this trick...

Well... Getting back to practice, practice and practice again. :-)

Hey Gabriel,

lol Don't cry! Double or Nothing really isn't as hard as it looks. It's all about string spacing. The loops that are formed when the yoyo swings around both your fingers the first time should be at the very base of your fingers. That way, when you make the last pass around your freehand index and land on the front string, you have enough room to land solely on that string.

But, as you said, in the end it comes down to practice. Good luck man!

Thanks Kyle. Yes, that is absolutely what it takes: practice. And a hint, your hint is a good hint. I am now able to achieve Double or Nothing not every time I try but quite often.

I will practice it through other tricks now, like Matrix which is quite easy when Double or Nothing is a success. Moving to next trick. :-)
