About this trick Some people don't take the time to learn this because at first it feels really awkward. But, I'd argue it is absolutely necessary to learn because nearly all modern tricks you'll see these days are based off of this type of throw. CommentsCrybot 09/09/2010 6:37pm
Are there any advantages of using one of the throws compared to the other? What are the pros and cons of each?

I'm assuming you're talking about the different ways to hold the yoyo. If so, there aren't a whole lot of pros or cons to either as far as I know, it's just preference. I personally think that the 2nd way looks more controlled. The one thing I have noticed, though, is that I can't quite get the sleep times others get, and I'm thinking it could be partially because of that 2nd hold. Also, the 1st hold is more traditional, if that makes any difference.
