Merry Christmas, players.  Follow has been one of the most requested tutorials since the creation of Rethinkyoyo, so I thought it fitting to have it be the tutorial released this fine Christmas weekend.  Consider it my gift to you, all you persistent throwers; you're the only reason this tutorial is up on the site right now.

The reason I was hesitant to release this tutorial is simply that it's incredibly difficult to learn.  It's not hard to explain, exactly, but nothing any teacher can say will make anyone "magically" have this trick down.  It just requires practice, plain and simple.  However, I talked myself into thinking that maybe my explanation of the trick will at least spur on some up-and-coming yoyoers to join in the practicing of Follow.  It's a great trick, worth learning.  I remember I had a ton of trouble with it for years.  Just keep at it, it will come in time.

Nix is a step away from the norm for me.  It was heavily inspired by John Ando and Malcolm Chui, and I personally find it to be a smooth, flowing and challenging trick.  This tutorial is also the first one I've made since I've moved to college, so enjoy the

This was originally the first tutorial I ever made for the website, and I chose to do it first simply because it's one of my favorites to do.  Just a really fun and pretty smooth trick.  Since then, though, the tutorial has been remade in higher quality.

As you can probably imagine, this trick was based off of Skin the Gerbil.  It has several more moves than Gerbil, but most of them are such that they're not that hard to remember, especially once you develop the muscle memory.  In the beginning, though, you may find it challenging to make it the whole way through the trick.  Just stick with it, though; it is a very worthwhile trick to learn.

This trick was the bane of my existence for a while.  First I was afraid to attempt it, then I finally started to try it, then I figured it must be impossible to land consistently, because I just could not do it.  It wasn't until I started watching videos by Jesse Christe and read a "Suicide tips" article by him that I started to make true progress.  Ever since I read his tips, I knew I had to remake the Suicide tutorial for Rethinkyoyo, because it was just not adequate.  This new and improved tutorial is based off of Jesse Christe's advice, and I think you'll find it exponentially more helpful.

Split Bottom is a pretty common mount in a lot of old-school tricks.  Well, actually, it's common mount in a lot of frontstyle tricks, which sort of makes it common in old-school tricks.  It doesn't doesn't get used as much as it used to, for sure, but I'm sure there's still a lot of great tricks that are just waiting to be discovered.  Maybe you should be that explorer that reinvents frontstyle.

This is a remake of one of the earliest tutorials put on Rethinkyoyo.  Theorem is back with higher visual clarity, better angles, and much more explanatory description.

There are quite a few interesting (and somewhat difficult) bits that make up this trick.  Just take it one step at a time, and you will get it.  The final pop to get off of the Eiffel Tower formation was the part of the trick that took me the longest amount of time to be comfortable with.  Keep at it.

This tutorial was submitted to the Rethinkyoyo Tutorial Contest in July of 2011 by Andrew Robinson.  It was also the winning tutorial, which is why it is now included in the trick listing on Rethinkyoyo.com.

The trick itself is a very smooth and flowing trick.  Also, I'm not sure why, but it's just really fun to perform, plain and simple.  It may take a bit of practice to find your groove to make the individual moves flow into a fluid trick, but it's very rewarding when you reach that point.
